To you, Daughters of the Confederacy, will be given the loving service of remembering the Confederate dead and of ministering to the living who were dear to him and are in need of your help and tenderness. Worthy daughters, you shall be of the immortal woman, your mothers who gave to womanood a new perfection of heroism and a more divine expression of sacrifice and devotion.

Who will tend our graves?
At the Annual Waco- McLennan County Genealogy Lock-in which was held on Oct. 26, 2007 in Waco, chapter members set up a membership table, passed out a flyer with information about the chapter and visited with prospective members. Pictured, Shirley Woodlock, Recorder of Military Service Awards for The Texas Division, UDC, presents Bill Buckner, Genealogy Librarian with a set of Ancestor Roster Books, awarded to the library by the Texas Division.
